The piece
A monumental resin gorilla, lacquered in gloss bodywork yellow, the prancing horse crest on its chest. It charges, fists clenched, jaws gaping wide to bare black fangs. On its own, it is enough to dress a hotel entrance, a restaurant or a collector’s garage — and everyone wants their photograph taken beside it.
