The piece
Wearing a helmet with a black visor, it bears the Mercedes star in relief on its breast, set on a mesh like a radiator grille and framed by black-and-white period photographs on a silver background. With the Ferrari and Bugatti ducks, it forms a trio to collect — or makes a gift in its own right.
