The piece
A complete Lamborghini V12 block, stripped down, cleaned and rebuilt as a piece of furniture: gold-finished intake manifolds, polished pistons and connecting rods standing on either side like twelve chimneys, timing chains and pulleys left exposed. The toughened-glass top rests on the piston crowns, with no screws and no adhesive. A heavy, one-of-a-kind piece — the engine dictates its proportions.
